Skin Packaging is a very unique type of packaging. It is performed by placing the product on a specially coated board. Skin film is first heated, and then vacuumed over on to the board with the product in the middle. The film forms sort of a skin on the product. Once the product is skin packed then it is die cut on a roller type die cutter to the size wanted. Multiple products can go over a skin board depending on the size of the product.
