Blister packaging is a very cost effective and visual form of packaging and is widely used in all manufacturing sectors. Blister packaging is performed by sealing a semi-rigid plastic to a card with the product in the middle. Blisters (semi rigid plastic) are formed to the shape of the product. Blister card is coated with a special coating which upon application of heat and pressure sticks to the plastic permanently.
